Late intermediate yellow that transitions into the long day Spanish type. Ovation has firmness and excellent skin retention. Globe shaped, sizes range from jumbo to colossal. Ovation cuts a high percentage of single centers. Adaptable grower friendly; in the PNW and CO it is a true intermediate. In CA, NM this is a good transitional variety.
